You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Lawrenceville School seeks enthusiastic energetic collegial individuals who want to work with both adults and students in a collaborative and inclusive academic setting. The InPerson Prefect position requires full time work during the 3week duration of the program. The inperson prefect is asked to live in a dorm and be accessible for work 24/7 during the program.
The Summer Scholars program runs from Monday July 7 2025 to Friday July 25 2025. All inperson prefects must attend the 1 two to fourhour orientation on July 5 2025 and be present on movein day (July 6 2025 from 12:30pm4:00pm.
Summary:
Prefects must be rising seniors or recent graduates of The Lawrenceville School. Position responsibilities include helping to manage House life and community time and activities supervising during meals providing support during study hall and house checkin times facilitating afternoon and evening activities and assisting during House Cup activities. You may be expected to help create plan and execute daily activities manage carpool assist with classroom/dorm setup and other camp needs. Crucially important to the student experience prefects are expected to be the fun but responsible adults in a room full of younger students.
The Prefects work together with the Executive Director of LVSS The Director of Community Engagement The Director of Students and the Heads of House to provide support guidance and supervision to the students enrolled in the program.
