Design Engineer
Requirements
- Lead the design test and release of new fan and blower coilproducts
- Establish manage and communicate project deliverables
- Understand and comply with safety standard requirements
- Initiate and lead design FMEAs design reviews and preproduction builds with multidiscipline development team
- Manage the creation of internal and external design documentation including bill of materials and submittals
- Support the collection and evaluation of product costs
- Support the production of new and existing fan and blower coil products
- Evaluate test data and implement appropriate actions
Qualifications
- Required: B.S in Engineering (emphasis in Mechanical or equivalent)
- Strong computer based skills and proficiency with 3d CAD and MS Office applications
- Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC industry a plus
- Understanding of design for manufacturability concepts
- Strong interpersonal communication organization and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change
- Selfmotivated
- Technical and mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
