Marsh McLennan the worlds leading professional services firm in risk strategy and people is looking for an Associate Enterprise Architect to join the Global Enterprise Architecture team.
What can you expect:
As a member of the Global Enterprise Architecture team you will join a group of highly experienced senior individuals who operate collaboratively across the organisation to set technical strategies approaches and standards as well as work collaboratively with teams across the enterprise. This highly selective group is now further enriching its effectiveness with the introduction of the Associate Enterprise Architect role
We will count on you to:
- Act as a change champion driving modernization consistency and reuse to accelerate teams and reduce costs
- Establish technical directions and standards for the Enterprise regarding what technology or service should be used in each situation (and which should not)
- Partner with Lead Architects across every business unit and function (e.g. security)
- Continuously work to improve the accuracy and governance of our technology shared services or reusable components
What you need to have:
- Passion for technology and always looking to understand the next big thing.
- Masters degree in computer science Information Technology (or similar working experience)
- Strong academic performance (e.g. top marks)
- Foundational knowledge in Cloud core concepts and Modern Development approaches.
- Drive for excellence and thirst for knowledge.
- Passion for structure and information organization.
- Strong attention to detail.
- REST API and Shared Services Principles
- Excellent written English and can convey complex concepts in easy to understand visually pleasing presentations.
- Strong technical background and can engage in technical architectural conversations effectively summarise and contribute.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical peers from all divisions across MMC able to lead discussions and build consensus.
- Delivery focused approach and an appetite for change.
What makes you stand out:
- AWS/Azure Experience
- Background in software development (Node .Net Java Mongo SQL React Angular)
- Experience with regulated environments systems security and privacy.
- Agile/Scrum Experience
- UML and Architectural diagramming experience
