Job Description

The Department of Leadership Studies and Adult Education invites applications for PartTime Instructors for fall 2024 or summer 2024. PartTime Instructors are hired on a semesterbysemester basis to teach Leadership Studies courses. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of Leadership Studies and Adult Education . Responsibilities include but are not limited to: teach facetoface and/or online attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include but are not limited to academic advising of students supporting student organizations participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
Minimum Requirements
An earned doctoral degree in Leadership Studies or closely related field from an accredited university.
Preferred Years Experience Skills Training Education
A proven record of teaching doctoral and graduate level courses. A proven record of service on dissertation/thesis research. A proven ability to use adult learning strategies in both facetoface and virtual settings. An ability to work with diverse adult populations in academic and professional working relationships.
