Job Description
- Work with the producer to develop a marketing plan to promote QU podcasts
- Create audiograms and other promotional materials to be shared online
- Engage online community to improve site visits
- Draft and send press releases and followup emails to media outlets and university public relations contacts to promote individual episodes
- Assist with transcript cleanup
- Other duties as needed
- Understanding of promotional strategies to target key audiences across social media platforms
- Expertise with Instagram TikTok Facebook Twitter/X Snapchat and LinkedIn
- Experience in creating engaging posts for social media
- Proficient in editing video/audio content and creating graphics for social media posts
- Interest in public relations marketing and/or social media content creation
- Extremely wellorganized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage your time prioritize tasks and meet deadlines all while maintaining highquality work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Canva and Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of Descript Headliner or other videocreating apps a plus
- 4hrs per week
