Job Description
To address these questions we have developed novel animal models that allow forauxininducible shortterm degradation of TCF1in vivo. These models enable us to study the molecular and epigenetic changessuch as chromatin accessibility 3D chromatin structure gene expression and developmental progressionthat occur when TCF1 is acutely depleted and later restored. We are now seeking ahighly motivated postdoctoral researcherto join our lab and contribute to this exciting area of research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use our auxininducible animal models to study the dynamics of TCF1 degradation and restoration.
- Analyze and interpret highdimensional genomic data.
- Collaborate with lab members to develop new experimental strategies and methodologies.
- Publish research findings in toptier journals and present data at scientific conferences.

A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and education in research. Individuals will train in the research program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peerreviewed publications and should become competitive for national research grants. Proof of English proficiency is required for J1 ShortTerm Scholars Research Scholars Professors Specialists and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in molecular biology epigenetics immunology or a related field.
- Strong expertise inchromatin accessibility assays3D chromatin structure analysis andgene expression profiling(e.g. RNAseq).
- Experience with animal models and/or T cell biology is highly desirable.
- Strong problemsolving skills ability to work independently and interest in collaborative research.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
