Part Time: Saturday and Sunday every other weekend 8am 4:30pm

How Youll Contribute:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Clinical Services the Triage Assistant will assist in the support of the daytoday operations related to the clinical services of Care Dimensions patients families physicians and clinical staff. The Triage Assistant is an integral member of the hospice team working closely with all IDT members to coordinate care needs for hospice patients and families. The Triage Assistant takes direction from the triage nurse or designee in regards to ordering appropriate durable medical equipment and clinical supplies for all hospice patients.
What Youll Bring:
- High school diploma required Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical facility or medical office setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and healthcare specific systems and databases required.
- Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing and in a professional manner to coworkers patients family members and external customers.
- Ability to exercise sound and independent judgement.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- The Triage Assistant is responsible to work at minimum two holidays per year.

The Pay Range listed is the anticipated hiring range of this position. Precise pay rates are determined through consideration of one or more of the following: education training relevant experience and work location. There are some cases in which the pay rate could exceed the range listed on this job post.
