During your internship you will be supporting our Lab colleagues in handlingmechanical and electrical testsin accordance to relevant safety standards.
Responsibilities- Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests.
- Performs tests using generallaboratory equipment.
- Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area.
- Operates computerterminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software.
- As directed follows defined testplans and datasheets. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Recordsand explains test results.
- Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts graphs and reports to explain test results.
- Examines testsamples reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor. Reads and interprets blueprintsschematics wiring diagrams and operational instructions.
- As instructed examines customer samples and learns tooperate basic tests for each case.
- Receives instructions from and reports data to engineers and other laboratory technician staff. Records observed orcalculated data on appropriate data sheets.
- Develops working knowledge of the job methods instrumentation andsystems.
- Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.

Qualifications- Technical High Schoolor Bachelors degree(preferably: Electrical Engineering or related).
- Good command of spoken and written English language.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with people at different levels.
- Desire to work in a teamoriented environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
- Overall knowledge about batteries would be additional benefit.
