We have a fantastic opportunity to joinJet2holidaysas aDestination Manager. As one of our valued Destination Managers you will play a vital part in managing our operation in Halkidiki.Youwill hold the most senior position in destination coaching developing and overseeing your direct reportTeam Leaders who manage their respective teams of Customer Helper Representativesin the resort and airport operations. You will ensure your full team are delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing our customers holiday experience both in the airport and resorts. You will work as one team with internal & external suppliers and stakeholders to take responsibility for your teams performance using Management Information (MI) and our inhouse digital systems.

What will you do in the role
Reporting into theArea Manager who is based remotely you will have overall responsibility for managing theplanning budgetinganddeliveryof theJet2holidaysservice across Halkidiki producing strongperformanceandresults ensuring you:
Collaborate with ourlocal agents transfer providers hoteliers andsenior UK stakeholdersto achieve setKPIs ensuring companypoliciesprocedures and service level agreements are met.
Managing costs and delivering against your budget and customer service metrics.
Demonstrating effective leadership and taking responsibility for managing all operational disruption including in destination crisis situations flight programme delays and customer escalations
Manage the performance of your team by hosting scheduled inperson & virtual team meetings delivering training to new and existing members of your team & hold individual monthly 11 performance and welfare meetings with your Team Leaders.
Propose key business decisions in the destination using available MI analysing trends as well asutilising your local destination knowledge.
Monitoring managing and reporting operational disruption which impacts thecustomersJet2holiday experience including building works local events and industrial action.
Leading by example displaying role model behaviours and company values in managing and delivering your operation.
What will I need
The successful candidate will haveprevious management experienceina similarHolidayorCruise Operationsrole. You will possess experience ofleadingandmanaging large operational teams ideally including Team Leader level. With a proven track record ofdelivering resultsandmanaging budgetsyou will be able to make considered decisions intight timeframes.An effective communicator preferably withGreeklanguage skills you willhave excellentstakeholder management skillsand the ability to effectively use and interpretdata and MI as well as being IT literate.
As we employ onlocal employment contracts you will already hold the fullright to work documentation required for Greece.Due to the level of travel required in the role you will be required to hold a full and validdriving licence and have your own car.Business Travel expenses are reimbursed.
