Easthaven Villa our beautiful Assisted Living & Memory Care community in Yelm WA has a current opening for an Assistant Administrator. The Assistant Administrator reports directly to the Administrator and plays a crucial role within the community by providing strong leadership to the care staff while building lasting meaningful relationships with our residents and their families.

Job Duties:

  • Must be alert and active in supporting the facilitys commitment to safe practices infection control and respect for residents rights.
  • In consultation with support staff follow set policies and procedures for delivering quality resident care and comply in all respects with applicable federal state and local laws and regulations.
  • Oversee financial management aspects of facility operations.
  • Represent the facility in community groups and affairs.
  • Oversee recruitment training and scheduling of all staff. Provide motivation and discipline as needed. Give employee reviews and set salaries and ensure that payroll remains within the budget set.
  • Oversee resident care assessments movein service plans invoicing progress notes communicating with families meeting with residents intervention/behavior management and nursing care.
  • Ensure food quality is maintained and expenses are within the set budget.
  • Ensure that fun meaningful activities are being provided daily.
  • Oversee maintenance of the building and grounds; ensuring a safe attractive living environment.
  • Market the facility to the community.
  • Use computer tools to document audit and communicate facility functions.
  • Work towards qualifying as an Assisted Living Administrator/Executive Director.

Schedule:

  • Mondays Fridays
  • Weekends
  • Day Shift
  • On Call as needed
  • Holidays

Qualifications and Job Skills:

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

  • Must have the skills and experience needed for effective oversight of all financial management aspects of the facilitys operations.
  • Communication and problemsolving skills are required for working effectively with staff residents family members physicians and contacts in the community.
  • Excellent computer skills.
