The Data Engineer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support datadriven decisionmaking across Vitori Health. This role requires expertise in ETL/ELT processes data modeling and cloudbased data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and experience working with AWS and GCP environments. Familiarity with Kubernetes and GitHub is also beneficial. TPA (ThirdParty Administrator) experience is a plus.
The Data Engineer must be a selfstarter with strong problemsolving skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with crossfunctional teams. The individual should be highly analytical detailoriented and capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities. The Data Engineer should have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data challenges ensuring optimal performance of data pipelines and warehouse solutions. Additionally the role demands adaptability to evolving technologies and business requirements as well as a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
A bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Engineering or a related field is required. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in data engineering ETL/ELT development and data warehousing. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non relational databases is essential. Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift Google BigQuery or Snowflake is highly desirable along with familiarity in programming languages like Python or Java for data processing. A solid understanding of data governance security and compliance best practices is needed and TPA experience is considered a plus.
