The Role
We have an outstanding opportunity for a focused and energetic trade qualifies individual to join our Open Sapce maintenanceteamin Belmont to support and add to our existing team.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the onsite implementation
This role will cover a range of supervision compliance and operational responsibilities and combine with the Project Manager to ensure KPIs and compliance is achieved at all venues.
Listed below are the key duties of the role that Programmed have planned from the understanding of the current contract and future improvement opportunities:
1. Staff Management
Supervise and train staff: Ensure that PPS maintenance staff have a good understanding of the role requirements are welltrained and competent in their roles to deliver proactive outcomes.
Scheduling and rostering: Oversee the staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all sites balancing site workloads and managing leave or absences.
Performance reviews: Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance provide feedback and implement improvement plans if needed in conjunction with the Project Manager.
2. Quality Service Delivery
Ensure compliance with regulations: Ensure the facility adheres to regulations related to the building code.
Assisting Resident Requirements: Oversee any room set up and fixture alterations ensuring residents needs are being met.
Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison between the site managers residents and PPS ensuring effective communication and resolution of any maintenance issues and concerns.
Improvement Opportunities: Liaise with Juniper regarding any fixture and fittings improvement opportunities that provide improved sustainability and reduced costs.
3. Operational and Facility Management
Oversee facility operations: Ensure that the facility is clean safe and wellmaintained. This includes overseeing maintenance schedules housekeeping and ensuring proper functioning of equipment.
My Builds: Ensure compliance and swift completion of tasks listed in my builds. Monitor productivity and task numbers at each site and liaise with PM to discuss completion rates against KPIs.
Health and Safety Protocols: Have a sound understanding of drive implementation and monitoring PPS and Juniper safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
Safety Meetings: Deliver safety toolboxes and conduct any operational meetings as required to align staff with all required compliance and role KPIs.
Stock Control: Responsible for fittings and materials stock control ensuring all staff have an adequate level of daily site requirements and that the staff are reporting usage levels to enable supplies to be readily available to minimize non productive work.
Budget and resource management: Manage resources effectively ensuring the facility operates within budget while maintaining quality care standards.
4. Record Keeping and Documentation
Ensure accurate documentation: Manage any incident and hazard reports staff schedules and communicate and price if required any works deemed nondaily maintenance.
Report to management: Provide regular written updates to Juniper and PPS management on facility performance staffing issues and any concerns or incidents.
5. Resident and Family Relations
Resolve conflicts: In conjunction with the PM address any issues or complaints from residents or staff promptly and professionally.
Communication: Ensure PPS and Juniper management are kept informed about any incidents or issues arising out of the service delivery any action immediately undertaken so that all are fully informed.
6. Continuous Improvement
Promote a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in quality assurance activities and initiatives aimed at improving the standard of maintenance and appearance within the facilities.
Innovation: Ensure both the client and staff are aware of innovative products and materials that will aid in both the auditing and upkeep of the facility whilst improving efficiencies and providing cost savings.
The role involves project planning work scheduling onsite supervision of employees and contractors and auditing the delivery of works on time with quality outcomes in a cost effective and safe manner. You will have strongtime management skills and apassion for delivering a high quality service to our existing and future customers.
