Job Description

Brandeis University seeks to hire a Donor Relations Coordinator who will support the operational functions of the Donor Relations team taking primary responsibility for office and database management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for office management including ordering office supplies and stationery maintaining donor stewardship files (electronic and archives). Manage production for all written correspondence by Donor Relations staff and senior IA staff. This includes obtaining appropriate signature; scanning and mailing; and related entry management. Manage student worker(s) and supervise their workflow as needed. Manage multiple vendors and platforms to execute email and mail acknowledgements honor and tribute cards and giving society mailings.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Associate Director of Donor Relations (AD of DR) on scholarship and fellowship assignment process as well as in chair management. This includes research and understanding of gift agreements and donor intent. Serve as a backup for responsibilities as defined by the Senior Association Director of Donor Relations.
  • Manage database functions which includes ensuring all donor information and donorrelated actions and activities are entered correctly and in a timely manner. Generates specialized reports queries and data exports with an ability to manipulate complex data in Excel spreadsheets prepare mail merges filters pivot tables and organizes data etc.
  • Provide support to Executive Director of Donor Relations
  • Independently manage the gift acknowledgement process (via Pledgemine) for all gifts under $5k and student gifts.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree strongly preferred plus 13 years related work experience
