Position Summary
The Housekeeping crew is an on call per event employee who is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Chaifetz Arena by performing various cleaning duties within the seating bowl concourse suites restrooms and locker rooms for various events.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15 to $17.

About the Venue
Chaifetz Arena is a 10600seat venue sitting on the campus of Saint Louis University and is privately managed by OVG.
Since opening in 2008 Chaifetz Arena has served as the home venue for the SLU Billikens mens and womens basketball teams as well as hosted a diverse range of concerts family shows national sporting events and much more. Audiences have enjoyed performances from Bruce Springsteen Elton John Patti LaBelle The Killers Kelly Clarkson Cirque du Soleil Martin Lawrence Brad Paisley Disney On Ice and many more critically acclaimed entertainment acts.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedure.
- Clean dust and wipe furniture; sweep mop or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers.
- Use and maintain assigned equipment and hand tools
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and working contact information are required to work at Chaifetz Arena.
- Must be a team player and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs or more on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand walk and bend on a continuous basis.
- Must be able to work nights weekends and holidays. Shifts are generally evening/overnight and could range from 4 hours to 12 hours.
- Must be able to work in a manner that is safe and effective.
