Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide patientcentered care on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for individuals who want flexibility in their schedule while still having the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients lives. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients abilities to perform daily living activities and develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Provide evidencebased interventions to promote independence mobility and overall function.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best care for patients.
  • Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy techniques and adaptive equipment.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Maine State Occupational Therapy License (Required)
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification (Preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting (Preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic patientfocused environment
