Job Description
HealthPartners is hiring a Financial Analyst. This role has immediate responsibility for HealthPartners financial analysis reporting and forecasting/budgeting efforts. They will develop maintain and analyze financial models. This role provides financial analysis support as directed.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Productively work with all levels of management; support and assist leaders other team members and other areas of HealthPartners.
2. Enhance processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and timely financial and managerial reporting and financial analysis.
3. Maintain develop and support financial and managerial reporting.
4. Assists leaders with operating and financial analysis efforts.
5. Supports financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Participates in special projects and initiatives as directed.
- Assist with the monthly close process and reporting.
- Support vendor assessment and provide financial advisement to purchasing contracts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS in finance accounting or business related field
- 2 years experience in finance accounting and/or business related field
- Strong spreadsheet and computer skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the health care industry
- Experience with budgeting/forecasting
