About the Job

As a ReadyMix Conveyor Driver you will safely and efficiently operate a conveyor truck and maintain an acceptable level of workmanship and productivity.

Based out of our Owen Sound location.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Operate a ReadyMix conveyor truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues
  • Promote execute and adhere to the companys safety program and encourage all employees subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
  • Work in a safe responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself or endanger the wellbeing of others
  • Deliver products to customers on a timely basis
  • Be a representative of Walker Industries to customers as a frontline worker.

Heres What You Need

  • Experience driving a ReadyMix concrete truck an asset
  • Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions and in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience with general equipment maintenance
  • Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 50lbs
  • Experience within the road construction industry.
  • Knowledge of road construction materials road construction processes and industry requirements.
