Job Summary
Responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical care overseeing pharmacy operations and contributing to clinical decisionmaking. This position involves advanced clinical knowledge leadership collaboration with healthcare professionals and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications to optimize patient outcomes.Does this position require Patient Care No
Essential Functions:
Provide advanced pharmaceutical expertise in drug therapy medication management and patient care across a variety of medical specialties.
Review medication orders assess appropriateness and make evidencebased recommendations to healthcare teams.
Review and interpret complex medication orders ensuring accuracy appropriate dosing and optimal therapy outcomes.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication treatment plans.
Serve as a resource for drug information answering inquiries from medical staff nurses and patients regarding drug interactions adverse effects and dosing regimens.
Participate in clinical rounds conferences and case discussions to contribute to patient care decisions and therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications
Education
Doctor of Pharmacy Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Studies required Masters Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Pharmacist State License Generic HR Only required
Experience
Experience in a clinical pharmacy role demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and expertise. 57 years required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of pharmacotherapy drug interactions and evidencebased medicine.
Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage and mentor pharmacy staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients.
Proficiency in utilizing pharmacy information systems and electronic health records.
Detailoriented mindset for accurate medication order review and patient care.
Problemsolving skills to identify and resolve medicationrelated issues.
