Job Description

The Australian Airline Pilot Academy Victoria (AAPAV) is currently seeking a High Performance Aircraft Training (HPAT) Instructor as part of our approved CAAC HPAT at our airline pilot training academy in Ballarat Victoria.

AAPAV is a Registered Training Organisation CRICOS and CASR approved 138 141 and 142 Training Organisation and provides the highest quality flight training to airline standards including the successful delivery of the Rex Pilot Cadet Programme and training to a growing number of cadets destined for Vietnam Airlines several Chinese and Singaporean carriers utilising Piper Warrior III Cessna 172S Piper Seminole aircraft fitted with EFIS cockpits and advanced GPS equipment as well as a King Air C90 GTi with Proline 21 avionics. The AAPA group holds Training Organisation approvals from CASA the CAAC CAAS GCAA (UAE) and the CAAV.

Requirements:

Australian ATPL (A) or CPL (A)

Flight Instructor Rating with a Grade 1 2 or 3 Training Endorsement

Multi Engine and Instrument Rating Training Endorsement

200 Hours Multi Crew Experience

Desirable but not essential:

King Air Experience

Proline 21 Experience

Employment opportunities are available for a fulltime or parttime limited tenure contract basis of two months with the possibility of ongoing employment. Contractor arrangements will also be considered.

Salary is negotiable.
