Job Description

Shift: 11 am ; Monday Friday
Position Summary:
As a Dedicated Dispatcher for Pyle you will be the point of contact on your shift for communicating Dedicated driver needs and changes.
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Dispatching drivers in TMW system; managing assigned driver schedules
- Making sure that drivers show up for assigned start time so they can meet customers cut times
- Being the point of contact on your shift for communicating LTL driver needs and changes
- Interacting with customers shipping team
- Insuring drivers are following PYLE SOPS (fuel at the end of shift DVIR accurate paperless logs)
To be qualified for this position you must possess the following:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Good computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft desired
- Ability to solve problems
- Good communication skills; excellent attention to detail and decision making skills
- Team oriented with good interpersonal skills; demonstrates initiative
The following skillsets are preferred:
- LTL Dedicated transportation or warehouse operations background
- Prior dispatch and routing experience
