With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff case managers clinicians physicians nurses and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.

Weve got a great opportunity for an Early Childhood Clinician to join the team located at our new Family Center at 1591 Taos Road in Pueblo. This is a fulltime position working MondayFriday from 8:00AM5:00PM.

What Youd Be Doing

As an Early Childhood Clinician at the Family Center you would be a vital contributor to the health and wellbeing of young children and their families in Pueblo. You would be working at our center and in homes providing mental health services and working across systems in our community to assure the best quality care for our clients.

Specifically the Early Childhood Clinician

  • Provides direct services to children from birth through 8 years of age and their caregivers;
  • Conducts developmental screening assessments and intake assessments for early childhood children;
  • Provides early childhood mental health services to early childhood clients and their families at the Family Center and in their homes;
  • Utilizes early childhood methodologies to help improve family cohesion;
  • Utilizes early childhood treatment modalities to help reduce trauma symptoms;
  • Maintains accurate and uptodate records to include timely documentation per Health Solutions Policy;
  • Maintains productivity expectations per Health Solutions Policy
  • Applies appropriate innovations in early childhood mental health field; and
  • Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What Were Looking ForThe MustHaves

  • A masters degree in social work psychology or a closely related field
  • Colorado clinical license (i.e. LPC LCSW LMFT) or
  • Must be willing/able to obtain candidate status with DORA within 2 weeks of hire date.
  • At least one year of experience working with children
  • Colorado drivers license and access to transportation during work hours

What Wed Like to See in YouThe NicetoHaves

  • Prefer one year of mental health treatment experience with children 08 years of age
  • Experience using 05 Diagnostic Classification
  • Spanish language skills
