About the role
Our Apprenticeship programmes have become well established over many years within our various sites in the UK and we are proud to see the success and development of the employees who began their career on our apprenticeship programmes.
This apprenticeship programme is designed to develop you over 2 years to reach a nationally recognised level 2 Engineering Operative qualification. On completion of this apprenticeship you will be considered for appointment to a permanent role.
What you will do
You will report directly to our Training Lead who will invest time and effort in helping you make the most out of this opportunity. You will also have a dedicated mentor who will help you succeed at work and at college.
As it is shiftbased youll need to be 18 years oldby that start date.Theattractiveshift patternallowsyouto work four12hourshifts(two days and two nights) followed by six days off.
During your apprenticeship you will learn to work in an efficient and confident way and develop skills such as:
- Taking responsibility for a machine area
- How to communicate technical information and identify engineering equipment
- Develop productive working relationships with colleagues
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Business Health and Safety procedures
- STEM skills
