Job Description
Hillside Boutique Hotel is seeking a motivated and hardworking Bar Back / Houseman to support our bartenders and ensure smooth operations in our bar area as well as assist with general houseman duties throughout the hotel. This role is essential in maintaining an organized clean and efficient environment enabling our team to provide exceptional service to guests. If you are detailoriented energetic and eager to work in a fastpaced hospitality setting wed love to have you on our team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in designated work areas.
- Support team members by ensuring necessary supplies and materials are available.
- Help set up break down and restock various spaces as needed.
- Provide general assistance to staff and guests to enhance overall operations.
- Follow health safety and cleanliness guidelines to maintain a high standard of service.
- Perform light maintenance or housekeeping tasks as required.
- Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities based on daily operational needs.
Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a bar restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus but not required.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support bartenders and hotel staff efficiently.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail to maintain cleanliness and organization in both bar and hotel areas.
- Customer service mindset with a friendly and professional attitude.
