Job Summary:
The Staff Supervisor Direct Care Worker atiCare Elder Services LLC will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the Direct Care staff and operations. This is a fulltime salaried individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $42000 $48000 per year

Description of the Role:

iCare Elder Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Supervisor Direct Care Worker to join our team in Northeast Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and assisting with the care of our elderly residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 32 client scheduled hours
  • Supervising a team of direct care workers
  • Assisting with daily living activities of residents
  • Developing care plans and conducting assessments
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all residents

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in home care/direct care
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in home care/Direct care
  • Certification in direct care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient nature
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage home care staff including scheduling performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary
Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Provide training and support to staff on best practices in home care services
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations
Maintain accurate records and reports on staff performance and client satisfaction
Manage and resolve any client or staff concerns or issues
Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements:
High school with 10 years DCW experience and 5 years supervisory experience or Associate degree with 7 years DCW experience and 4 years supervisory experience orBachelors degree in healthcare with 3 years DCW experience and 2 years of supervisory experience or a related field preferred
Previous experience in home care or senior care services is required
Strong leadership and management skills is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities is required
Able to work independently and prioritize tasks is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record software is required
Must pass a background check and drug screening
