Your Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented attorney to join Tenables dynamic legal team as Corporate Counsel. This role will support the companys global Employment Law matters and assist with the companys global Privacy Data Protection and Artificial Intelligence regulatory matters.

Your Opportunity:

  • Review draft and provide guidance on employment agreements offer letters separation agreements restrictive covenants vendor agreements independent contractor agreements compensation and benefits agreements insurance agreements and data processing agreements
  • Assist in responding to subpoenas including wage garnishment matters and liaise with payroll providers or compensation and benefits teams as needed
  • Conduct legal research on employment privacy and AIrelated legal developments and global compliance issues providing concise and actionable recommendations
  • Support immigrationrelated and visarelated inquiries and collaborate with HR teams to ensure legal compliance
  • Work closely with privacy counsel to support global privacy initiatives including employee data protection and compliance with GDPR CCPA and other privacy laws and conducting privacy and AIrelated risk assessments
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including HR Information Security Product/Engineering and Sales/Marketing
  • Provide legal guidance on matters involving international employment law and compliance with foreign labor regulations
  • Develop businessfocused legal solutions by distilling complex legal principles into clear concise guidance for internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies regulatory requirements and best practices in employment law and privacy
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with legal operations and administrative tasks as required
  • Engage in crossfunctional collaboration with various teams to support companywide legal initiatives
  • Support the companys response to regulatory inquiries audits and litigation related to employment and privacy law

What Youll Need:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar
  • 13 years of postlaw school experience in employment law privacy or related legal practice (law firm inhouse experience or agency/government experience preferred)
  • Strong legal research skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide clear bottomline businessoriented guidance
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deliver direct actionable legal advice without unnecessary complexity
  • A proactive and organized mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Interest in working on global legal issues and a willingness to develop expertise in privacy law and employment law across different jurisdictions
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams including HR and IT
  • Familiarity with key employment laws (e.g. Title VII ADA and FMLA) and privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR and CCPA) is a plus

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors including the candidates qualifications skills competencies location and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles bonus for nonsales roles) depending on company and individual performance.
