Join our dynamic team as an Educational Consultant! Collaborate with university leadership faculty graduate students and staff to drive innovative teaching practices support graduate student and faculty achievements and elevate student learning experiences. We seek a candidate with excellent communication skills instructional development experience and a commitment to graduate student success. As a key member of the CTE youll design professional development programs create instructional resources and support graduate students and TAs as educators and researchers.

This is a yearround inperson position located in College Station Texas.
Salary Range: $60000

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Masters degree in a related field
Three years of experience in one or more of the following areas: college or universitylevel teaching assessment and evaluation course and instructional design interdisciplinary teaching and learning curriculum educational research and/or digital learning with some supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of organizational culture and ability to be a change agent and advocate of excellence in teaching and learning; recognition as an innovator based on multiple new techniques and workshops in educational development of faculty and/or graduate students
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of learning theory pedagogical practices and digital and online learning
Strong grasp of effective practices and research in teaching and learning in higher education
Ability to plan implement and evaluate programs and services
Responsibilities
Program Development and Implementation:
Develops implements and assesses educational development programs.
Analyzes program data for reporting and adjustments.
Facilitates and delivers educational development opportunities in various formats.
Conducts onsite programs and creates institutional resources for scalable highimpact practices.
Consulting and Outreach:
Provides consultations at the university departmental program course and individual level on a variety of teaching and learning topics/issues providing feedback support and assistance
Collaborates with colleagues on creating revising and implementing effective educational development tools
Assists in developing strategies and policies regarding teaching and learning
Research Service and Scholarship of Teaching:
Conducts contributes to and disseminates research on national dialogues and publications related to educational development teaching and learning
Assists faculty in establishing research designs to assess effectiveness of teaching; identifying means to share their educational scholarship; and coauthoring as the collaboration warrants
Assists and collaborates with faculty and other educational developers on grants and research projects in discipline(s) and in the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) and graduate student professional development
Leadership:
Supports university committees and projects promotes scholarly teaching and brokers relationships within and outside the university
Mentors and supervises graduate and undergraduate students in the Center
Professional Development:
Develops enhances and implements annually a personal professional development plan by assessing personal knowledge skills and abilities
Participates in programs (workshops conferences etc. and research to enhance job skills and to support a personal professional development plan that increases knowledge and expertise in the field of educational development as well as English Language Proficiency
