You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking to appoint an ambitious talented and innovative Subject Leader of History with a proven track record of improving standards and an unwavering commitment to achievement in History. The successful candidate will lead and manage the History team and be relentless in the pursuit of excellence.
The successful candidate must have excellent subject knowledge and be committed to raising the achievement and aspirations of all pupils. Additionally you will need to sustain improvements in the teaching and learning of History. The department aims to nurture the potential of every pupil and support their progress towards becoming confident autonomous young people. Teachers within the department strive to stimulate motivate and inspire the pupils through engaging lessons which draw on active participative learning. The curriculum team endeavours to foster a positive learning culture which allows pupils selfconfidence to develop within a framework of high expectations.
We are making substantial improvements in all areas and we are investing heavily in our staffing structure to continue this momentum. We are a supportive team committed to ensuring that our learners fulfil their potential despite any barriers they may face and we are looking for equally passionate practitioners to join us.
