About the Job
The Red Hat AI Business Unit is looking for a technical Product Manager for a hybrid role in our Raleigh NC or Boston MA office. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and is willing to become a subject matter expert in AI platforms tools and technology. In this role you will help create prioritize and drive product strategy and of the OpenShift AI product(s). You will be primarily working with customers through the Red Hat field teams and Red Hat engineering for product requirements and implementation. You will also be working with other stakeholders such as marketing field enablement customer success and support to drive the success of OpenShift AI. Experience with Generative AI MLOps and other AI platform capabilities is strongly preferred.
What Youll Do
Collect and document input from users customers community members partners and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop strategy and roadmap for our offerings
Research competitive solutions both commercial and doityourself alternatives documenting their relative strengths and weaknesses to develop competitive positioning and collect input for new releases
Prioritize document and track requirements and user stories for new releases of our offerings
Create and manage product roadmaps
Guide major enhancements of our offerings by working crossfunctionally with core teams across our Engineering team and the upstream open source community
Work with stakeholders to manage releases and updates of our offerings and bring new AI solutions to market
Work with our Sales teams to respond to customer inquiries; deliver customer presentations and demos and support the overall sales process
Support sales and marketing activities including creating presentations blogs demos and other technical collateral for our offerings
Review and provide feedback on the documentation for our offerings
Speak and share expertise at user groups and conferences in various locations throughout the U.S. and worldwide
Participate in technical aspects of gotomarket engagements like live streams roadshows workshops webinars demos of offerings and solutions industry and partner events and sales enablement/training
What Youll Bring
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline. Masters degree is a plus
Product management experience in the software industry preferably with some experience working with AI tools and/or platforms
Proven track record of leading crossfunctional teams to deliver impactful products
Ability to think strategically and influence stakeholders to deliver against key priorities
Capacity to handle multiple competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in crossfunctional environment with a distributed remote and global workforce
Selfmotivated with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities while working in a highly complex environment
Understanding of technical challenges to drive wellinformed decisions with the development team
Understanding of and experience with open source projects

The salary range for this position is $116270.00 $191840.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location experience applicable skills and training external market value and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hats compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus commission and/or equity. For positions with RemoteUS locations the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
