Position:Security Officer
SIA licence
Hours:This is part time 18 Hours per week Mon 08:30 17:30 & Fri 08:30 17:30
Pay rate: 12.60
Transport:Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links (Whitehaven CA28 7SJ 15 MILES.
Requirements:Must possess a valid SIA licence
Shifts Available: Monday & Friday (flexibility to cover additional shifts for holidays or sickness is beneficial)
Requirements:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle conflict management effectively
First Aid training (courses can be provided for the right candidate)
Physically capable of standing for long periods
Responsibilities:
Meet & Greet Providing a welcoming and professional presence
Publicfacing role Assisting visitors and ensuring a safe environment
Conflict Management Handling difficult situations professionally
Emergency Response Fire evacuations and other emergency protocols
First Aid Responding to medical incidents if required
Key Attributes:
Strong character and ability to remain professional under pressure
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Proven customer service excellence
Physically fit for the demands of the role
No previous security experience required Full training including SIA & First Aid courses can be provided for the right candidate.

Job Opportunity
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorised activities
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities incidents and observations including completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner
- Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points
- Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises following established protocols and procedures
- Respond to emergencies and security incidents taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property

Essential Skills
- SIA Licence
- Access to vehicle/good transport links 15 miles.
- RTW in the UK & 5year checkable history
- Good customer service and written/verbal communication skills
