Based in Huntsville theStructural Engineering Technician (Summer Student) will have a wide range of duties which focus on assisting in all aspects of structural engineering project delivery.

Based in Huntsville theStructural Engineering Technician (Summer Student) will have a wide range of duties which focus on assisting in all aspects of structural engineering project delivery.
What Youll Do:
As part of the TULLOCH Engineering team you will:
- Assist Project Managers in all aspects of project delivery
- Work on the preliminary and detailed design and specifications for structural projects (i.e. transportation structures commercial residential and industrial buildings)
- Assist with preliminary and detailed design and drawing preparation for various engineering projects
- Assist with specification writing drawing preparations and tender quantity estimating
- Ensure plans are in compliance with applicable standards and drafting requirements
- Participate in the inspection and contract administration of engineering projects

What You Should Bring:
The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a relevant field of study (Civil Structural or Geotechnical Engineering). Additionally you should bring:
- Experience in the use of Total Station and GPS Survey Equipment is considered an asset
- High motivation with resultsoriented focus
- Superior organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Unwavering commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Valid Class G drivers licence
