PartTime Evening Shift
Introduction:
We are looking for a responsiblecustodianto maintain and protect our facilities. This position cleans and removes trash from exhibition area locations offices meeting rooms shops public areas and restrooms in a variety of buildings. This role works on weekends holidays and special events on a rotating schedule. This position is classified as essential and may be asked to participate in all emergencies ice/snow removal and special events.

Compensation:
$15.00 $16.00/hour dependent on skills and experience
Expected Hours:
2830 hours/week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Cleans offices kitchens common areas and restrooms
- Maintains appropriate supply levels and inventories at all locations
- Maintains all cleaning equipment. Uses proper care with all chemicals and equipment
- Surveys all facilities for routine and emergency maintenance. Makes minor repairs and/or submits service orders. Installs light bulbs/fluorescent tubes when needed.
- Assists in requirements for special events
- Moves boxes and furniture
- Responsible for performance quality and quantity of all work assigned. Compiles a daily record and completes service orders
- Assists outside contractors with professional carpet services. Cleans carpets and windows between contractor visits
- May assist maintenance duty personnel in assisting workers on the estate before opening or after closing
- Assists with the recycling program: is aware of materials we recycle and disposes of them properly
- Works independently and with a minimum of supervision
- Conducts all work in accordance with all procedures and guidelines
- Practices and maintains safety precautions and procedures in all facilities
- Performs other related duties as needed and carries out or directs the completion of special assignments
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of custodial experience
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work evenings weekends holidays and overtime
- Must be able to lift 30lbs push 20lbs bend stretch twist crouch or reach with your body arms and/or legs
