At Eldercare we know that older people in our care want to remain as healthy and independent as possible. With rehabilitation space at each of our facilities and a thriving reablement program our Occupational Therapists tackle frailty through intensive 1:1 reablement programs and ongoing groupbased interventions.
As an Occupational Therapist at Eldercare you will work in a large multidisciplinary environment alongside Physiotherapists Nurses Dietitians Social Workers and Dementia Specialists. You will offer supervision and direction to Mobility Assistants to promote mobility and exercise for all of our residents in the pursuit of individual goals.
Our Occupational Therapists utilise their full range of clinical assessment and treatment skills and enjoy having the time to support residents to achieve their potential. Our team culture embraces innovation by adopting evidencebased and emerging practices into our service model.
Professional support is offered by our two regional Allied Health Team Leaders and ongoing professional growth is enabled through bimonthly meetings and the opportunity to develop and implement new practices.

To work for Eldercare you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
