Job Description
Title: Video Editor
Location: Remote TX
Duration: 6 Months
PR: $30/HR $35/HR on W2

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to create engaging highquality shortform videos tailored for digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative editorial team bringing stories to life through visually stunning content. Reporting directly to the VP Editorial & Content youll play a key role in shaping our brands digital presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce captivating shortform videos optimized for digital platforms utilizing stock footage and social media content.
- Film and edit interviews ensuring a polished and professional final product.
- Design compelling graphics title cards and visuals to enhance video storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with the editorial team to ensure videos align with our content strategy and brand voice.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously delivering highquality work under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience editing videos for digital news outlets or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in industrystandard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of digital media formats and best practices for social media platforms.
- Excellent graphic design skills with the ability to create engaging visuals and title cards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with real estate or financial news content.
- Knowledge of current trends in digital video production and storytelling.
