Logistic Assistant Stockroom

Avantor is looking for a proactive Logistics Assistant (Stockroom) to join the team in Mlndal Gothenburg. In this role youll take on logistics responsibilities including managing incoming goods unpacking them and distributing them to laboratories.

This fulltime permanent position is based at our customers site in Mlndal Gothenburg. The Team

Youll become part of a dedicated logistics team of 8 associates within a diverse and supportive environment that encourages collaboration and positive challenges. Youll belong to the Lab and Production Services department supporting major pharmaceutical companies globally within the Research and Development sector of the Life Sciences industry.

What were looking for

• Education: At least a High School Education

• Experience:
• Experience in a logistics environment preferably in the pharmaceutical industry handling inventory and incoming goods.
• Familiarity with laboratory materials (e.g. pipettes plastic glassware) is a plus.
• Proven ability to monitor and manage consumables in a laboratory setting.
• Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate deliveries and setups
• Swedish language skills are essential along with a good level of English both spoken and written
• Proficiency in IT systems particularly with tracking systems and Microsoft Office especially Excel

How youll thrive and create an impact

• Manage incoming goods including receiving unpacking and placing items in designated storage locations
• Monitor and replenish consumables in laboratory storage
• Collaborate with the Logistic Coordinator to plan and set up new PointofUse areas
• Focus on continuous improvement and optimization of existing logistics processes
• Contribute to maintaining and updating documentation to support service delivery
