Job Description
We are currently looking to extend our team dedicated to creating and maintaining our highly available platform to support missioncritical emergency call handling NG911 systems.. By leveraging virtualization advanced automation and a robust stack of technologies we aim to deliver a seamless scalable and selfservice infrastructure solution that accelerates business innovation. Teams are responsible for endtoend solution development including design implementation testing delivery and maintenance in a 24/7 support model.
We are looking at different types of individuals. If you have experience in Platform Architect Automation Engineer Kubernetes Specialist Elastic Engineer Site Reliability Engineer and Network Security Engineer and you feel like creating technology that serves as a lifeline for first responders is a noble and vital endeavor you are ready to answer the call.
Basic Requirements
Technical skills must have:
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred).
Experience with virtualization technologies (eg PROXMOX VMware ESXi KVM).
Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g.Bash Python Ruby).
Familiarity with automation of infrastructure and application deployments (e.g.Ansible Terraform).
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions).
Understanding of networking concepts and principles and security best practices
Technical skills should have:
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. PostgreSQL MS SQL).
Familiarity with message queues (e.g.RabbitMQ).
Knowledge of log management and analytics tools (e.g.Elastic Stack Prometheus).
Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Familiarity with configuration management and version control systems.
Experience:
5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
Handson experience with the technologies mentioned above.
Experience with large enterprise IT systems
Experience with highly available zerodowntime platforms
Proven experience in automate everything organizations Experience in working with different time zones (fluent English)
