Job Description

Schedule: Fulltime weekend nights
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program (required)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols
- Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department
- Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes
- Prepare examination room equipment and instruments per patient needs
- Operate xray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
- Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
***The Radiologic Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations***
