Job Description
We are located in northeast Alberta nestled in the boreal forest at the confluence of four rivers. Fort McMurray the largest city in the Municipality is considered an urban service area.
In addition to Fort McMurray the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo consists of ten smaller communities: Anzac Conklin Draper Fort Chipewyan Fort Fitzgerald Fort MacKay Gregoire Lake Estates Janvier/Chard Mariana Lakes and Saprae Creek Estates. Each of these communities has its own unique charms and attractions.
Fort McMurray also has an international Airport. Many local and national flights are available. For those who wish to drive the new double lane highway Edmonton is 435 km south on Highway 63.

Description:
The community of Fort McMurray is currently looking for a Radiologist to join their existing team of specialists that offer high quality diagnostic solutions. The successful candidate must be eligible to practice in Alberta.
Duties include but not be limited to:
- Reside in and have as his/her primary residence in the community of Fort McMurray.
- Establish and maintain a 0.70 FTE parttimecommunity based practice within the community.
- Provide call support as per call schedules including participation in the Diagnostic Imaging call schedule as required..
- Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities; interest in management.
- Contribute to and participate in other administrative duties as assigned.
