Job Description

Head of Platform Strategy

In todays landscape of financial innovation and market complexity you will become the cornerstone of our transformation. As Head of Platform Strategy youll architect a unified ecosystem that elevates our investment capabilities and sets new industry standards.

The Strategic Mandate

You will integrate critical domainsfrom portfolio management to client interfacesinto a cohesive datacentric platform delivering unprecedented value. By designing modular components with intuitive interfaces youll create a foundation that adapts to regulatory changes while maintaining operational excellence. Your vision will transform our operations by:

* Accelerating innovation through reduced timetomarket for new investment products

* Enhancing decisionmaking with realtime analytics and AIdriven insights

* Ensuring compliance by embedding regulatory controls into system design

* Scaling capabilities through plugandplay solutions for global deployment

Driving the Platform Vision

As Head of Platform Strategy you will unify insights portfolio management trading systems investment integration strategic model portfolios and AIcentered user experiences into a cohesive ecosystem. Platform Strategy forms a natural alignment to our technology architecture and drives a vision across IMG for:

* Purpose Clarity: Articulating deeper objectives and navigating tradeoffs

* Structural Coherence: Designing interfaces to abstract complexity

* Evidence Standards: Setting transparent datadriven success criteria

Organizational Transformation

Youll lead our evolution into a productled technologyforward organization through four maturity stages each building on the foundations of the previous:

Vision Alignment

* Transform siloed product thinking into an enterprise platform perspective

* Articulate how technology becomes our strategic differentiator rather than support function

* Establish shared principles that unite business strategy with technological capability

Stakeholder Management
* Provide timely datadriven updates on platform progress ensuring that milestones challenges and successes are clearly communicated to executive and crossfunctional stakeholders.
* Translate complex technical insights into compelling narratives that illuminate outcomes
* Position the platform as a strategic priority building relationships with key decisionmakers

ProductLed Foundations

* Introduce metrics that connect technical decisions directly to business outcomes

* Shift organizational mindset from project delivery to product evolution

* Develop capability models that reveal interconnections across the investment lifecycle

Technological Acceleration

* Implement architectural patterns that allow rapid product experimentation

* Establish data architectures that turn information into actionable intelligence

* Create feedback mechanisms that create the capacity for learning

Cultural Transformation

* Develop leadership capabilities that bridge business vision and technical

* Foster a culture where technology innovation directly shapes strategy

* Establish centers of excellence that propagate platform thinking across the enterprise

Financial Stewardship

* Set clear investment metrics and justifications for platform enhancements

* Weigh shortterm technology needs against longterm architectural sustainability

* Work with executive teams to define OPEX/CAPEX targets with transparent tracking

Global Operational Excellence

* Enable rapid global deployments with consistent reliability

* Promote knowledge transfer across product teams and regions

* Embed datadriven methods to reduce costs boost throughput and increase quality

The Leader We Need

Strategic Architect

* 10 years orchestrating largescale platform transformations in asset management fintech or comparable techdriven sectors

* Proven success streamlining complex ecosystems while enhancing performance

* Experience leading enterprisewide architectural initiatives with measurable impact

Technical Excellence

* Deep knowledge of API ecosystems distributed systems and predictive analytics

* Proficiency with datadriven automation for workflows and performance optimization

* Ability to align technology expansion with evolving regulatory landscapes

Transformational Leader

* Track record of building diverse highperforming teams and fostering inclusive cultures

* Strong ability to translate complex concepts into compelling executive narratives

* Skilled at driving cultural change and aligning global stakeholders behind a shared vision
