Full Stack Software Engineer Legal OperationsLocation: San Jose Palo Alto Bastrop New York (onsite)
Salary: $142000 $250000 base equity
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support our Legal Operations teams. You will play a critical role in designing developing deploying and maintaining cuttingedge tools and applications that enable compliance with legal obligations enhance operational efficiency and provide critical insights in support of our legal operations. Youll have the unique opportunity to work across the stack and across the X organization collaborating with crossfunctional teams and all of our products to deliver scalable missioncritical solutions that meet the unique challenges of processing legal requests from across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
Design build develop and deploy missioncritical tooling to collect and process sensitive legal data.
Monitor and optimize applications for security compliance.
Design and develop intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies (e.g. React).
Build and maintain scalable backend systems using languages like Java and Scala.
Integrate with and maintain secure reliable databases (e.g. PostgreSQLor MySQL).
Collaborate with legal operations stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
Develop APIs and middleware to connect systems and facilitate seamless data exchange.
Ensure high performance reliability and scalability in all applications.
Contribute to DevOps initiatives including CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
Write clean maintainable and welldocumented code.
Qualifications
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
3 years of experience as a full stack developer with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and one or more frontend frameworks (React Angular or Vue.js).
Strong experience with backend frameworks.
Expertise in designing and working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
Handson experience with SQL databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
Strong problemsolving skills and a commitment to delivering quality solutions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
A securityfirst mindset with a commitment to protecting the privacy of our users data.
A demonstrated ability to succeed in fastpaced dynamic environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with legal technology.
Knowledge of compliance and security best practices for handling sensitive data.
Familiarity with automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks in legal operations.
