The Role:
Pharmacy Technician for LeeSar IV Compounding Center. Operation of automatic compounding devices and clean room facilities per approved procedures. Audit the environmental monitoring conditions: temperature humidity differential pressure and nonviable particle counter.
Qualifications
The Successful Candidate:
- Minimum of high school diploma with a preference of an Associates or Bachelors degree
- Completion of a board certified Pharmacy Technician program preferable
- Completion of not less than 10 hours per year of continuing education from an accredited institution. Of the 10 hours not less than 2 hours of CE on Current Good Manufacturing Processes 1 hour of regulatory update and 1 hour of Continuous Quality Improvement
- Parenteral preparation experience preferred
- One year related technician experience preferred
- Ability to use personal protective equipment required
- Ability to gown to work in and ISO5 environment
