Fortinet is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Signal Integrity Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Signal Integrity Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our highspeed digital and RF circuits. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to evaluate simulate and validate signal integrity solutions for our cuttingedge products.
Responsibilities:
Analyze highspeed digital and RF circuits to ensure signal integrity.
Perform signal integrity simulations using industrystandard tools such as Keysight ADS and Ansys HFSS.
Collaborate with hardware design teams to optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity.
Conduct pre and postlayout signal integrity analysis and provide design recommendations.
Develop and execute test plans for signal integrity validation.
Troubleshoot and resolve signal integrity issues in prototype and production hardware.
Document signal integrity analysis and validation results.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3 years of experience in signal integrity engineering with a focus on highspeed digital and RF circuits.
Proficiency in using Keysight ADS and Ansys HFSS for signal integrity simulations.
Strong understanding of signal integrity principles including transmission line theory crosstalk and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Experience with PCB layout tools and design for signal integrity.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other signal integrity tools and methodologies.
Knowledge of highspeed serial interfaces (e.g. PCIe DDR USB Ethernet).
Familiarity with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and testing.
Understanding of scripting languages such as Python or TCK/TK.
The Canada base salary range for this fulltime position is expected to be between $77000 $110000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.
