Job Summary
Position Overview: The Senior Caf Manager is responsible for overseeing all cafeteria operations from open to close ensuring cost controls quality and sanitation standards are exceeded while leading a team of employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff in line with company policies and applicable laws
- Interview hire train and coach employees and entrylevel managers
- Plan and assign job duties conduct performance reviews and facilitate development
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning standards
- Maintain daily volume trend reports
- Plan market and execute special events in the caf
- Perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 35 years of upscale food service experience with at least 2 years in management
- Strong supervisory training and coaching skills
- Knowledge of food service operations including cash handling and equipment usage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus
