The Product and Program Manager Senior will join the Investment and Capital Markets Business Technology Offices Strategic Initiatives and Transformations team. This position offers a chance to influence critical business functions and drive technological advancements within Freddie Mac.
This is an individual contributor role involved in the coordinating of software solutions for model analytics for trading desks and other divisional Retained Portfolio Management and Analytics teams.

The I&CM division handles liquidity financing credit risk transfer and hedging transactions and manages Freddie Macs portfolios of loans securities and derivatives.
The I&CM Business Technology Office (BTO) is responsible for applications supporting pretrade and posttrade data and analytics whatifscenarioanalysis transactions operations cash and liquidity management; financial risk management and regulatory reporting.
Collaborate with Trade Capture Data Services and Pricing and Analytics teams to support integrated and purpose driven trading platform and services.
Perform requirements analysis individually or collaboratively translating them into detailed specifications and/or proofofconcept code.
Manage assignments from the centralized bookofwork from inception through using agile practices and the standardofcare expectations for architecture risks and controls and endtoend workflow design.
Work with product and program managers product owners and business stakeholders to support integration and coordination of application projects.
Build and maintain positive relationships with business stakeholders technology partners providing transparent reporting of resource competition constraints other disruptions or contextualized status updates effectively.
57 years in Financial Services technology; 2 years in the mortgage market preferred.
Proven success leading and implementing a broad range of strategic and tactical initiatives.
Excellent presentation written and oral communication skills.
Strong quantitative analytic product management and program management skills.
Experience supporting model analytics for mortgage markets and interest rate derivatives hedging preferred.
College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
Empathetic to business users understanding both business and technology implications of requirements.
Investment in understanding the business functions software and data footprint endtoend processes and risk and control frameworks.
Ability to react to business activity levels and implications engagement and other business needs of Technology teams.
Must be able to plan coordinate with excellent organizational skills to produce timely results.
Knowledge of fixed income products especially mortgages and derivatives.
Experience supporting financial services domains such as Trading Finance and Accounting Middle Office/Trade Support and Risk Management of Credit Market or Liquidity Risk and Asset Liability Management.
Experience supporting specialized financial services technology domains such as quantitative models; analytics scenario analysis and stress testing frameworks; data science or data development; or user interface / experience design and development.
Understand endtoend content creation model analytics financial reporting (e.g. Profit and Loss (P&L) risk management analytics how any given application contributes to the endtoend.
Able to analyze to business use cases requiring skills in data analytics process and system workflow analysis. SQL and Python skills are preferred.
Proficient in industrystandard tools for development tracking and documentation such as JIRA Confluence and SharePoint. Experience with Agile and Scrum practices is preferred.
Flexible adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity; performing with wherewithal and continuity during times of change.
Cultivated curiosity and ongoing interest in how technology (applications services data platforms) contributes to investment and capital markets including trading portfolio management finance accounting and risk management.

This position has an annualized marketbased salary range of $130000 $196000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.Required Experience:
