As a Delivery Driver your primary responsibility will be to pick up and deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner. As someone in direct contact with our customers you must represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times. The perfect Sales Associate will be committed to our Customer Service Vision and will foster strong relationships with an outgoing knowledgeable and helpful personality. He or she will be enthusiastic about our products and services while on and off the clock and will drive sales on a daily basis. Sales Associates are responsible for selling products in our retail stores and for installing all types of batteries for customers including watch/key fob and car/truck batteries. In addition he or she is responsible for maintaining a clean comfortable and inviting environment for our customers at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers product to specified locations making deliveries in the most efficient economical manner possible
- Develops and maintains an efficient routing system
- Ensures sales tickets are completed
- Develops and maintains an organized and efficient loading and unloading system
- Unloads merchandise according to customers requests
- Verifies all items listed on the sales ticket are loaded and delivered
- Provides the customer with an accurate sales ticket and collects payment if needed
- Provides customer service that will result in greater sales by greeting customers promptly and courteously helping unload/load products and working with customers to resolve problems
- Maintains a professional appearance which includes wearing a clean uniform
- Delivers orders safely by following regulations safely operating and maintaining the delivery vehicle and using extreme caution while driving
- Interacts and communicates professionally with commercial customers
- Wholeheartedly commits to our Customer Service Vision and strives to go the extra mile and create customers for life
- Provides fast friendly service and actively engages customers offering a friendly greeting and smile and making eye contact
- Discusses available options with customers asking questions to determine needs and showing interest in the customer
- Gains and maintains knowledge about all products in order to describe the features and benefits answer questions and suggest related items
- Installs all types of batteries for customers such as car batteries watch and key fob etc.
- Understands and communicates all store policies and promotions to customers
- Remains calm during periods of high volume and provides excellent service to all customers
- Maintains and promotes a clean safe and inviting store environment at all times
- Contributes to the inventory management process
- Understands and follows all operational policies and procedures relating to cash handling safety and security and other store related matters
- Exhibits a commitment to punctual and regular attendance for all assigned shifts
- Contributes positively to a team environment
- Attends all staff meetings trainings and educational classes as required
- May be required to pick up/deliver products in the local area
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Professional experience highly preferred
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
- Must have a current valid drivers license in this state
- Must be able to read white and perform simple math
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Must be willing and able to be exposed to dirt and dust fumes temperature extremes dampness and battery acid on a regular basis
- Must be willing and able to wear the required safety/PPE when performing duties which includes steel toe shoes and protective gloves when handling batteries
- Neat and clean appearance
- Safety and customer service oriented
- Highly professional and dependable
- Must be able to interact and communicate professionally with commercial customers
