The Mission
As part of the development towards a Next Generation Digital Banking Platform ING is renewing the Data Management capabilities globally. The Tribe Data Management is building an integrated data management platform for Netherlands organization.
Your day to day
Even if youll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our offices garden your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:
- Develop ETL flows in IBM Infosphere Datastage based on functional requirements coming from the business teams
- Analyze data design and build physical models at the various stages of the data pipeline: ingestion of data sources mapping in data warehouse and creating data marts for consumption
- Develop new frameworks and packages using IBM Cognos Analytics
- Manage data using Oracle Exadata as main database following performance standards
- Handle endtoend deployment by using GIT and Microsoft Azure Devops to build the packages and migrate the code to the appropriate environments
- Perform technical tests to ensure quality code delivery
- Use Linux as operating and file transfer system for the incoming/outgoing data files
- Maintain the applications running in our Data Lake monitor the teams deliverables by incident management and bug fixing
- Keep the operational controls which are part of the risk appetite of the bank
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies
- Collaborate actively in the team of 68 members consisting of 34 other DevOps engineers and 23 Business Analysts
What youll bring to the team
Experience: 3 years in data management
Tech stack/ knowledge:
Mandatory:
- Experience with ETL processes and tools
- Experience with Data Warehouse concepts
- Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts
Nice to have:
- Experience with Linux operating system
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools
- Wiliness to learn and experiment with new technologies
- Enthusiastic personality enjoying working in a multicultural environment
- Good collaboration and communication in the team
Foreign languages:English (advanced)
Education: Bachelors Degree (or higher) in an IT related field
