Job Description

Job Title: Test Manager


Job Type: Fulltime


Location: Santa Ana CA


We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Test Manager to join our team. The Hardware Test Manager will be responsible for leading the testing team and ensuring that all testing activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing procedures and processes in Electronics Manufacturing Services and experience managing a team.


Responsibilities:

Manger Responsibilities/requirements: (Weight at about 3040

  • Ability to lead a team of test technicians in the testing and debugging of Electronic products on a daily basis with an emphasis in hands on managing and mentoring
  • Ability to work with program management and operations leads to ensure a smooth workflow of products
  • Strong planning skills with emphasis on being able to adapt and prioritize workloads of team based on efficiency and company needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skills with Microsoft office suite with emphasis on Excel or Project
  • Conflict resolution skills are a plus
  • Technical writing skills for test development or evaluations is a plus

Test Technical Skill responsibilities/requirements

  • Job requires the manager to be hands on with products and actively participate in testing and debugging
  • Strong debugging skills are a requirement
  • Ability to evaluate CCAs to a circuit/component and a strong understanding of schematics is required
  • Ability to take customer test procedures and apply them to products is required
  • Experience with Vibration/Thermal/Flying Probe/Boundary Scan/Continuity testing is a plus

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)

5 years of experience in hardware testing

2 years of experience in a management or leadership role

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fastpaced environment

Strong problemsolving and analytical skills

Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus


Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand walk and lift up to 50 lbs is required.
