DescriptionAiimi is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join us and work directly with one of our clients on a data project. You will be required to go onsite 23 days per week in Bradford while embedding yourself in the project after which the role will transition to a more hybrid working model..
Contributing to the development of a data service platform that provides tools for creating deploying and managing information visualisations including reports and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit analyse and document data requirements.
- Support the design development and implementation of datadriven solutions.
- Ensure highquality data insights through effective data analysis and validation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting and analytics tools.
- Identify and log Data Quality issues via the Data Quality Issue Management Process.
- Maintain strong relationships across different levels of the organisation.
RequirementsPreferred Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Strong knowledge of data and reporting applications and their business value.
- Demonstrable experience in gathering and shaping user requirements for analytical solutions such as management information data hubs data science and machine learning.
- Understanding of core data concepts (e.g. tables entities) and familiarity with modelling techniques (e.g. dimensional modelling Data Vault II anchor modelling).
- Practical experience in data interrogation using tools such as Excel Power BI SQL Databases or NoSQL platforms.
- Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with the ability to evaluate and interpret information from multiple sources.
- Experience in identifying and managing data quality issues.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and execute effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive approach to ownership and problemsolving.
- Selfmotivated with a passion for continuous learning and a strong customer service ethos.
Desirable:
- Experience in designing and implementing a Hub and Spoke Model for Data.
- Familiarity with applications such as Dynamics or SAP.
- Knowledge of NoSQL platforms and technologies such as JSON Delta Lake Parquet and Markdown.
- Previous experience within the water wastewater or broader utilities sectors.
- Professional qualification in Business Analysis (e.g. BCS Business Analysis certification Lean Six Sigma).
- Professional certification in Agile Methodologies ideally Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
