WHAT YOULL DO:
Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!
Inspect and review patient charts reports lab results and medical history.
Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
Evaluate sonograms to identify or ruleout patient/fetus anomalies.
Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
Cover a variety of clinical settings including outreach clinics which may involve extended commute times.
Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU
Graduate of a CAAHEPaccredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
Experience doing Fetal Echocardiogram (FE) scans
2 years highrisk OB and or MFM sonography experience
Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
Able to communicate effectively with physicians clients and team members
Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future

Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency Nasal Bone and Cervical Length
Bachelors degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 Tasks involve exposure to blood body fluids or tissues.
