Join our team at Aquatic Adventures Swim School and be part of a dynamic studentcentered environment where we build confidence and develop safety skills through quality swim instruction. Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of all students and staff.
Love and respect students while teaching them to swim.
Be a dependable team player.
Complete required training and embrace continuous learning.
Follow our curriculum focusing on each students needs abilities and comfort.
Smile and have fun during your shift.
Qualifications:
Ability to swim is a must.
Caring and compassionate towards people of all ages and abilities.
Ability to work in the water for up to 5 hours.
Strong communication skills.
Great attitude and willingness to be coached.
Ability to focus in a fastpaced environment.
Flexibility to work afternoons and some weekends.
Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification (training provided for a fee).
Red Cross Lifeguard certification is desired.
Pass a criminal background check.
One year of previous experience working with children is preferred.

Aquatic Adventures Swim School is Roanoke Valleys ONLY dedicated swim school. We change and enhance lives by providing lifesaving swim skills to children of all ages and abilities. Our dedicated team loves to have fun while providing a safe educational program. At Aquatic Adventures Swim School you will have the unique opportunity to hang out in a 90degree pool sing while you work and help children learn to swim.
All staff is trained in house to teach the Aquatic Adventures Swim School trademark program. Our consistent uniform teaching method provides a more streamlined effective program. We love children and believe that by learning to swim children will survive and thrive!!
Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school.
