Responsibilities
- As a Senior QA you will be responsible for the overall quality of the products released to production. Lead and contribute to the QA efforts ensuring the quality of the deliverables and support the release and deployment activities.
- You will plan and execute manual and automated tests including integration regression and load/performance tests. Design and develop the required test cases test scenarios and test plans meeting the requirements/specifications while maximizing automation.
- You will be working closely with the developers and business analysts to troubleshoot and verify the fixes. Track the defects to resolution promptly. Participates in the estimation process and provide accurate estimates on testing activities.
- Assist the Product Development Manager with the direction of QA processes tools standards and techniques. Participate in risk/compliance assessment and mitigation plans. Communicate effectively on the impact of changes to current systems and release schedules.
- Support and mentor other QA staff to build collective QA team member knowledge ability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 7 years of handson software testing experience in a web development environment
- 2 years automation experience with coding tests for web UI applications and REST APIs using C# .NET
- Strong understanding of test methodologies manual/automation test strategies testing frameworks and experience of test management and automation tools
- Strong written and detailoriented skills to effectively produce quality test cases and related release documentation with a high level of coverage
- Able to comprehend and deliver on large complex QA initiatives with minimal assistance and review
- Experience with viewing and analyzing system logs using a monitoring tool or access to the test environment
- Strong Database and TSQL experience
- Handson experience using API testing tools such as postman Fiddler or similar
- Knowledge of web technologies HTML CSS JavaScript jQuery and XML
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins Docker Azure DevOps
- Sharp work ethic analytical efficient organized and problemsolving skills with attention to detail
- Must be highly motivated selfstarter strong collaborator and completely dependable and accountable
- Able to manage multiple projects with varying priorities and deadlines
- Previous experience with SaaS Platforms is a plus
- Possessing a ShiftLeft QA mentality is a plus
